Santa Caterina is characterized by a hilly part called Le Cenate, consisting of a group of very old and charming villas, and the coastal part, an unmissable destination for locals and tourists every summer. Two towers were built in the XVI century, Torre Santa Caterina and Torre dall'Alto, from which you can admire the two nearby towns Gallipoli and Porto Selvaggio.
